fans of medicine

I am now completely accostomed with my job and I find the medical job comletely compatible with my notions, but meanwhile something hurts me deeply and that is the position of a general phisician in our society, a society that does not support its doctors by any means, a society that undermines all respect and general esteem for a young doctor, forgetting the fact that these young doctors are the people that have the health of the habitants of this great country in their hands, So why deteriorate their social respect and means of life

Since my graduation I have come through many days of anxiety and depression to fight against all the oprresion I felt towards us, general phisicians I after few months I understood that I only have to come to terms with it for nothing I can do stop the hierarchy of the wrong concept that the community has, the concept that believes all doctors to be comfortably off  so why should we pay them well to look after our lives when it is their duty; a concept that lets them ignor young doctors from the trend of life and their need to LIVE so that they wont LEAVE

Life is like a piece of chocolate, with a lot of varieties: Bitter, sweet, very Sweet, containing nuts,Milk chocolate, containing nougha and etc

But what you should undersand is: sometimes a most bitter one is the sweetest, while a most sweet one can carry a most bitter taste; and all that means nothing but reveals your mood

If one day life does not appear as bright as you expect; noway, just wait and all that will pass,  soon everything will look more normal than it seems now

And now me too, am looking for a brighter tomorrow, with a more colorfull rainbow smiling at me over the sky of my mind

  wish you luck

Had I heaven’s embroidered cloths,

Enrought with gold and silver light,

The blue and the dim and the dark cloths of night and light and half light,

I would spread the cloth under your feet,

But I,

being poor,

have only my dreams,

I have spread my dreams under your feet,

Tread softly, because, you tread on my dreams

And though I might be attracted or repelled [by the patient], the professional attitude which every physician must call on would steady me, dictate the terms on which I was to proceed.

WILIAM CARLOS WILLIAMS, M.D (1883-1963

I emphasize the stark biology of behavior not to deny the patient’s sentiency or to dehumanize but to create conditions that allow that sentiency to flow forth uninhibited by the physician’s biases or censorship. Treating each patient as a coequal organism consisting of neural circuits that operate a set of levers, apertures, tubes, and glands focuses on our elemental unity and limitations – the pathos of being human. “Because I was flesh and a breath that passeth away and cometh not again.” By biological necessity, each of us originates, lives, and dies alike, and each f us exults and suffers alike. Ironically, in the necessity to recycle the food we eat, the water that quenches our thirst and the air we breathe, as creatures sharing one biosphere, we continuously exchange with each other the very molecules that compose us. The oxygen atom cycling through me once cycled through you. If you regard all and every behavior objectively simply as clinical phenomena, as the product of neural circuits, operating glands, and adjusting the length of muscle fibers, you will react professionally, not socially in liking or disliking the patient. You are not subject to the patient’s sorrows, seductions and transgressions nor captive to your own reactions to the patient’s personality and lifestyle. Free from fears of censure or entrapment, patients can reveal their full sentiency and needs. Although you should achieve empathy, you must remain emotionally calm because you cannot think rationally when weeping over a patient’s illnesses, fuming about a patient’s behavior or faults, or feeling too attracted to the patient. Perhaps this approach to the elemental biology will work for you; if not, it may encourage you to find your own way to foster the professional humility and grace that enables the patients to fully reveal their personhood.
